Seen as a chance to do something a little bit dark and a little bit worthy, we were excited to get our teeth into this stylized public service announcement for Hvita Husid to be shown on Icelandic TV and in Cinemas.
The project is an integration of our 3d animation and 3d props, environments, vehicles, and lead character, with the art direction, 2d elements and compositing and editing by iLoveDust.
References were provided from which we created 3d versions of the male character and a virtual recreation of the intersection where the accident occurs. During the project we were fortunate enough to work with an incredible set of storyboards created by the huge talent that is Shan from iLoveDust.
The work won an Icelandic award for Best Public Service Announcement.
